Description

Seeking a creative and detail-oriented RTW Designer to join the brand’s New York-based studio. This is a collaborative, hands-on design role focused on helping bring each season’s creative vision to life across Ready-to-Wear categories. You will work closely with the Creative Director and the design team to develop collections from concept through to final samples, ensuring each piece reflects the brand’s unique aesthetic and high standards. Responsibilities

    Support the design and development of four seasonal RTW collections, along with special capsule drops and store exclusives
    Assist in researching seasonal concepts, references, materials, and silhouettes in collaboration with the Creative Director
    Create detailed sketches and technical flats for all styles, along with complete spec sheets for development
    Develop tech packs and assist in preparing materials for patternmakers and factories (both domestic and offshore)
    Participate in fittings, take notes, and update technical packages as needed
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and production, to support a smooth sampling and development process
    Source fabrics, trims, and finishing techniques aligned with the brand’s aesthetic and quality expectations
    Conduct trend and market research to support newness, brand relevance, and competitive differentiation
    Maintain clear communication with internal and external partners throughout the development cycle
    Help ensure that all designs meet fit, construction, and quality standards while staying true to the brand identity

Qualifications

    3–5 years of experience in a contemporary or luxury fashion design role
    Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or related field
    Strong hand sketching and CAD skills
    A refined design sensibility with a strong sense of color, proportion, and materiality
    Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
    Highly organized with the ability to work across multiple collections and meet tight deadlines
    Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Excel, and technical design programs
    Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric behavior, and fit
